Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
Part Eleven looks at
1. to defend or guard from attack, invasion, loss, annoyance, insult, etc.; cover or shield from injury or danger.
2. to provide, or be capable of providing, protection
How might we see this in our relationship and marriage?
- Standing up for your spouse when someone starts to talk bad about them
How might we see this in our relationship and marriage?
- Standing up for your spouse when someone starts to talk bad about them
- If he says something he doesn't like that your mom keeps saying to him, you find a way to address the issue with your mom without bringing up that your husband said it to protect his image or reputation with your parents
- Providing a stable home for your spouse and your family
- Not doing something in secret that can be traced back to your spouse and get them in trouble such as gambling away his money where the bills can't be paid.
If there is anyone that you and your spouse should feel their heart is protected with it should be with each other!
