Planning your wedding is supposed to be fun, but often times, it can be frustrating, emotional, and tiresome. Believe me, even I considered eloping! lol. However, as in all things in life, God gives us blessings big and small, subtle and obvious. We just have to find them and recognize them! So here it is, the first 25 blessings of planning a wedding.
- Cake tastings
- Getting to slip on many beautiful gowns (a girl's dream shopping experience)
- New Shoes!
- Connecting with friends you may not get to see much
- Knowing that the man you love, loves you back for sure
- The Ring (Not just because it is pretty ;) but because it tells everyone that you have found your life companion)
- Parties!
- God answered your prayers for true love
- Writing vows (My husband is not ooshy gooshy but this one day, I got to hear mushy words from him)
- Tears of happiness
- Hugs
- Getting to buy those wedding magazines you've been ogling since you were 5.
- Feeling like a princess
- Seeing that dress on for the first time after it has been perfectly altered
- Seeing your loved ones faces when they see you in your dress
- Toasts
- Dancing
- Getting lost in each others eyes and nobody saying "Get a room!"
- The honeymoon
- Getting told how beautiful you are a million times (We love that, don't we!)
- Slipping that ring on his finger
- Photo shoots (you are a model!)
- Getting the RSVPs back in the mail (Always such fun so see who is coming)
- The wonderful feeling you get when you have dropped the invites at the post office and they're off!
- Writing thank-you notes to your closest friends and family sharing how much you appreciate them. It will make their day :)
God Bless!

I love the very first moment that you are announced as husband and wife. THE BEST EVER!!
How about the power of the registry gun? That's definitely a blessing! =)
I loved having an excuse to be crafty and make tons of DIY projects I would have never made otherwise!
